In every Italian home, there’s one thing that brings everyone to the table — the smell of garlic bread baking in the oven. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, brushed with golden olive oil and that unmistakable garlic aroma… it’s not just bread, it’s comfort.
This version of Nonna’s Garlic Bread Dippers is simple, rustic, and made with Nonna Amorini Food Club ingredients — the kind of recipe that reminds you that sometimes, less really is more.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf fresh Italian bread or baguette, sliced thick
- 4–5 tablespoons Nonna Amorini Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2–3 tablespoons Nonna Amorini Crushed Garlic in Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- Optional: a sprinkle of real Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven
Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Make your garlic oil
In a small bowl, mix together Nonna Amorini Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Crushed Garlic in Olive Oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Brush and bake
Arrange your bread slices on the tray and brush each piece generously with the garlic oil mixture. Bake for about 8–10 minutes, until golden around the edges and lightly crisp on top.
4. Optional finish
For a richer touch, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and return to the oven for 1–2 more minutes until melted.
5. Serve and dip
Serve warm with Nonna Amorini’s Marinara Sauce for dipping, or alongside Nonna’s All-Beef Meatballs for a full Italian spread.
Serving Ideas
Perfect for Sunday dinners, gatherings, or even as a snack while cooking. Pair with a glass of red wine, some laughter in the kitchen, and you’ve got yourself a little slice of la dolce vita.
Nonna’s Tip
“Don’t rush the bake. The secret to perfect garlic bread is patience — let it turn golden, not brown. That’s when it’s full of flavor and just the right crunch.”
